Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No, I am an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies will provide out-of-pocket coverage for your fees. I’m happy to submit your out-of-pocket insurance claim as a courtesy.
Q: How long will therapy take?
A: It varies with each person. It often depends on the type of difficulties you are facing, your motivation to address your challenges and the goals you have set out for yourself. I offer both short and long-term therapy.
Q: What type of therapy can I expect in our sessions?
A: I consider myself eclectic and enjoy the art of combining therapy models to fit your needs. I tend to gravitate towards mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapy, short and long-term psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
Q: What if I need help with a specialty that is not listed?
A: I work within a group practice called the Highland Psych Collaborative. I’m happy to be a resource for referrals.
