Q: Do you accept insurance?
No, I am an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies will provide out-of-pocket coverage for your fees. I’m happy to submit your out-of-pocket insurance claim as a courtesy.
Q: How long will therapy take?
It varies with each person. It often depends on the type of difficulties you are facing, your motivation to address your challenges and the goals you have set out for yourself. I offer both short and long-term therapy.
Q: What type of therapy can I expect in our sessions?
I consider myself eclectic and enjoy the art of combining therapy models to fit your needs. I tend to gravitate towards mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapy, short and long-term psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
Q: What if I need help with a specialty that is not listed?
I work within a group practice called the Highland Psych Collaborative. I’m happy to be a resource for referrals.
